Primary Responsibilities:
- Treat and manage cardiology patients (75% outpatient, 25% inpatient)
- Perform history and physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies
- Develop, implement, and adjust care plans
- Co-manage medical and surgical conditions
- Educate patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other health professionals
- Follow ethical principles and maintain professional accountability
Inpatient Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments
- Participate in rounding and collaborate with attending teams
- Perform inpatient consultations and stress testing
- Coordinate care transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings
Qualifications:
- Required: APRN or PA-C licensure in Washington, national certification, DEA, basic computer proficiency
- Preferred: Experience in cardiology, primary care, or inpatient medical specialties, familiarity with EPIC EMR
