This medical center serves as the primary healthcare facility for Oregon's South Coast, offering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. The facility features an advanced oncology department with state-of-the-art equipment and is part of a larger healthcare campus. The oncology department provides both medical and radiation oncology services in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Opportunity: Board Certified - Oncology

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in oncology to join a well-established practice. The position offers a collaborative work environment with experienced physicians and the chance to provide critical care to cancer patients in a community setting.

Job Details:

• Outpatient setting primarily focused on solid tumor oncology patients
• Manage follow-up appointments for patients on active treatment and in survivorship
• Assist infusion nursing staff with symptom management and patient evaluations
• Work collaboratively with supervising medical and radiation oncologists on-site
• Average of 10-12 patients per day
• On-call rotation of 1 in 3 or 4 weeks, handling critical lab values and symptomatic patients
• Documentation via Epic/Beacon EMR system
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Requires medical oncology experience and AONCP certification
• BLS required, ACLS highly preferred
• Oregon license required or willingness to obtain

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
